Measurement of inclusive charged-particle jet production in pp and p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}=5.02$ TeV
ALICE Collaboration

TL;DR
This study measures inclusive charged-particle jet production in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions at 5.02 TeV, finding no significant nuclear modification effects and confirming consistency with theoretical models and previous experiments.
Contribution
It extends the transverse momentum range of charged-particle jet measurements and provides more precise nuclear modification factor results at 5.02 TeV.
Findings
Nuclear modification factor $R_{pPb}^{ch jet}$ is consistent with unity.
No significant cold nuclear matter effects observed.
Results agree with NLO pQCD calculations and previous measurements.
Abstract
Measurements of inclusive charged-particle jet production in pp and p-Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy per nucleon-nucleon collision TeV and the corresponding nuclear modification factor are presented, using data collected with the ALICE detector at the LHC. Jets are reconstructed in the central rapidity region from charged particles using the anti- algorithm with resolution parameters , 0.3, and 0.4. The -differential inclusive production cross section of charged-particle jets, as well as the corresponding cross section ratios, are reported for pp and p-Pb collisions in the transverse momentum range GeV/ and GeV/, respectively, together with the nuclear modification factor $R_{\rm pPb}^{\rm…
