Unique Determination of a Planar Screen in Electromagentic Inverse Scattering
Sadia Sadique, Petri Ola, Lassi P\"aiv\"arint

TL;DR
This paper proves that the far-field pattern from a single plane wave uniquely identifies a bounded superconductive planar screen in electromagnetic inverse scattering, extending previous scalar results to electromagnetic cases.
Contribution
It generalizes a scalar inverse scattering result to the electromagnetic setting, establishing uniqueness for the reconstruction of planar screens.
Findings
Far-field pattern uniquely determines the screen
Extension from scalar to electromagnetic inverse scattering
Applicable to superconductive planar screens
Abstract
We show that the far--field pattern of a scattered electromagnetic field corresponding to a single incoming plane--wave uniquely determines a bounded supraconductive planar screen. This generalises a previous scalar result of Bl\aa sten, P\"aiv\"arinta and Sadique.
