Multisolitons in a gauged Skyrme-Maxwell model
Leandro Roza Livramento, Yakov Shnir

TL;DR
This paper constructs new gauged Skyrmion solutions with magnetic fluxes, revealing that strong coupling leads to toroidal Skyrmions bound to magnetic flux, expanding understanding of topological solitons in gauge theories.
Contribution
It introduces novel solutions of a gauged Skyrme-Maxwell model with topological charge up to 5, highlighting the transformation of Skyrmions into toroidal shapes under strong magnetic coupling.
Findings
Skyrmions coupled to magnetic fluxes are constructed for topological degrees up to 5.
Strong coupling causes Skyrmions to become toroidally shaped and bound to magnetic flux.
The solutions extend the understanding of topological solitons in gauge field theories.
Abstract
We construct new solutions of a gauged Skyrme-Maxwell model of topological degrees , which represent Skyrmions coupled to magnetic fluxes. It is found that, generically, in the strong coupling limit, coupling to the magnetic field results in transformation of the configuration to the toroidally shaped Skyrmions bounded to the local magnetic flux.
