TL;DR
This paper develops a precise theoretical framework for double-porosity elastic models, revealing how highly oscillatory composites exhibit unique dispersive behaviors in time and frequency domains.
Contribution
It introduces an order-sharp theory for double-porosity models in linear elasticity, highlighting dispersive properties of elastic composites.
Findings
Uncovered time dispersive properties of elastic composites.
Identified frequency dispersive behaviors in highly oscillatory materials.
Developed a precise mathematical framework for double-porosity elasticity models.
Abstract
We construct an order-sharp theory for a double-porosity model in the full linear elasticity setup. Crucially, we uncover time and frequency dispersive properties of highly oscillatory elastic composites.
