On a methodology to determine whether the fluid slips adjacent to a solid surface
Josef M\'alek, Kumbakonam R. Rajagopal

TL;DR
This paper proposes a practical methodology using measurable experimental data to determine whether the classical no-slip boundary condition applies to fluid flow near solid surfaces.
Contribution
It introduces a new approach to experimentally verify the validity of the no-slip boundary condition in fluid dynamics.
Findings
Method enables easy experimental verification of slip conditions.
Provides criteria to distinguish slip from no-slip regimes.
Applicable to various fluid-solid interface studies.
Abstract
We discuss a methodology that could be gainfully exploited using easily measurable experimental quantities to ascertain if the ``no-slip" boundary condition is appropriate for the flows of fluids past a solid boundary.
