Hypergraphs defined on algebraic structures
Peter J. Cameron, Aparna Lakshmanan S., Midhuna V. Ajith

TL;DR
This paper introduces the concept of hypergraphs on algebraic structures, particularly groups, aiming to explore a new perspective in the study of algebraic graph theory.
Contribution
It pioneers the study of hypergraphs on algebraic structures, expanding the scope of algebraic graph theory beyond traditional graphs.
Findings
Initial theoretical framework established
Potential for new insights into algebraic structures
Foundation for further research in hypergraph applications
Abstract
There has been a great deal of research on graphs defined on algebraic structures in the last two decades. In this paper we begin an exploration of hypergraphs defined on algebraic structures, especially groups, to investigate whether this can add a new perspective.
