TL;DR
This paper calculates bounds on the top-quark's electromagnetic and weak dipole moments within the Bestest Little Higgs Model, considering quantum corrections from virtual particles at one-loop level, and evaluates how model parameters influence these moments.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed analysis of top-quark dipole moments in the BLHM, incorporating a comprehensive set of virtual particle contributions and exploring different Yukawa coupling schemes.
Findings
Electroweak dipole moments are of order 10^{-4} for the top-quark.
Different Yukawa schemes yield slightly different dipole moment values.
Results suggest potential for experimental detection of these moments.
Abstract
In this paper, using a Bestest Little Higgs Model (BLHM) approach, we obtain bounds on the top-quark electromagnetic and weak dipole moments. These physical observables are sensitive to quantum corrections induced by virtual particles at the one-loop level. The contributions of the virtual particles are obtained from the vertices of scalar bosons, vector bosons, and heavy quarks: , ; , ; , , ; , , ; , ; ; and . With these new contributions, we evaluated the electroweak dipole moments , , and of the top-quark in the diagonalization…
