TL;DR
This paper develops a transport model for the high-order eddy viscosity tensor in two-dimensional turbulent flows, extending the Boussinesq hypothesis through tensorial analysis of second-order moments.
Contribution
It introduces a novel tensorial transport model for high-order eddy viscosity, advancing turbulence modeling beyond traditional approaches.
Findings
Derived a tensorial transport equation for high-order eddy viscosity.
Enhanced understanding of turbulence structure in 2D flows.
Provides a foundation for improved turbulence simulations.
Abstract
Motivated by the concept of eddy viscosity tensor in improved Boussinesq hypothesis, a transport model of high-order eddy viscosity tensor in 2D-3C turbulence structure is derived from the second-order moment model by tensorial analysis.
