Gravitational-wave equation in effective one-body background for spinless binary
Ya Guo, Hiroaki Nakajima, Wenbin Lin

TL;DR
This paper develops a gravitational-wave equation within the effective one-body framework for spinless binary systems, applicable to spherically symmetric backgrounds, with specific gauge conditions based on metric perturbations.
Contribution
It introduces a gravitational-wave equation tailored for the effective one-body model of spinless binaries, expanding applicability to spherically symmetric backgrounds.
Findings
Derived the gravitational-wave equation in the effective one-body background.
Established gauge conditions using metric perturbations.
Applicable to general spherically symmetric backgrounds.
Abstract
We construct the gravitational-wave equation in the background of the effective one-body system for the spinless binary, which is in general available with the spherically symmetric background as well. The gauge conditions are given in terms of the metric perturbation.
