TL;DR
This paper introduces a new conserved charge related to Killing-Yano tensors for asymptotically maximally symmetric black holes, calculating it for various black hole solutions and relating it to their angular momenta.
Contribution
It constructs a novel asymptotic conserved charge using Killing-Yano tensors and applies it to several black hole solutions, revealing its proportionality to angular momentum.
Findings
New conserved charge proportional to black hole angular momentum
Explicit calculations for Kerr, AdS-Kerr, Myers-Perry, and Gibbons-L"u-Page-Pope black holes
Charge construction based on Killing-Yano tensors
Abstract
We construct an asymptotic conserved charge for a current that has been defined using Killing-Yano tensors. We then calculate the corresponding conserved charges of of the Kerr and AdS-Kerr black holes, and their higher-dimensional generalizations, Myers-Perry and Gibbons-L\"u-Page-Pope black holes. The new charges all turn out to be proportional to the angular momenta of their parent black holes.
