TL;DR
This paper reports a precise measurement of the branching fraction of the decay $D^{*+}_s o D^+_s \pi^0$ relative to $D^{*+}_s o D^+_s \\gamma$ using BESIII data, and derives individual branching fractions for these decays.
Contribution
The study provides the first precise measurement of the relative branching fraction of $D^{*+}_s$ decays, improving understanding of charm-strange meson decay dynamics.
Findings
Measured the relative branching fraction as (6.16 ± 0.43 ± 0.19)%
Determined the absolute branching fractions as (93.57 ± 0.44 ± 0.19)% for $D^{*+}_s \\gamma$ and (5.76 ± 0.44 ± 0.19)% for $D^{*+}_s \\pi^0$
Results are consistent with theoretical predictions and previous measurements.
Abstract
Based on 7.33 fb of collision data taken at center-of-mass energies between 4.128 and 4.226 GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fraction of relative to that of to be . The first uncertainty is statistical and the second one is systematic. By using the world average value of the branching fraction of , we determine the branching fractions of and to be and , respectively.
