Boundedness in a taxis-consumption system involving signal-dependent motilities and concurrent enhancement of density-determined diffusion and cross-diffusion
Genglin Li, Liangchen Wang

TL;DR
This paper proves the global boundedness of solutions in a taxis-consumption system with signal-dependent motilities, diffusion, and cross-diffusion, under certain conditions on parameters and initial data.
Contribution
It establishes the existence of globally bounded weak solutions for a taxis system with signal-dependent motilities, extending previous results to more general conditions.
Findings
Global bounded weak solutions are proven to exist.
Boundedness holds for $m > n/2$ in the system.
Results align with conditions for related signal production systems.
Abstract
This paper is concerned with the migration-consumption taxis system involving signal-dependent motilities in smoothly bounded domains , where and . It is shown that if is strictly positive on , for all suitably regular initial data an associated no-flux type initial-boundary value problem possesses a globally defined bounded weak solution, provided , which is consistent with the restriction imposed on in corresponding signal production counterparts of so as to establish the similar result.
