No Proca Photons
Florian Steininger, Thomas Mieling, Piotr T. Chru\'sciel

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that Proca photons, which are massive photon models, are incompatible with experimental data regardless of how small their mass is, challenging their physical viability.
Contribution
It proves that the Proca equation and its modifications cannot align with experimental evidence, invalidating the concept of Proca photons.
Findings
Proca equation incompatible with experiments
Massive photon models are not supported by data
Modifications in dielectric media also fail evidence tests
Abstract
We show that the Proca equation in vacuum, as well as its plausible modifications in dielectric media, is incompatible with experimental evidence, no matter how small the Proca mass is.
