Dark $SU(2) \to Z_3 \times Z_2$ Gauge Symmetry
Debasish Borah, Ernest Ma, Dibyendu Nanda

TL;DR
This paper explores a dark sector with an $SU(2)$ gauge symmetry that breaks down to a $Z_3 imes Z_2$ symmetry, analyzing its implications for dark matter phenomenology.
Contribution
It introduces a novel symmetry breaking pattern from $SU(2)$ to $Z_3 imes Z_2$ and studies its effects on dark matter properties.
Findings
Dark matter stability is linked to the residual $Z_3 imes Z_2$ symmetry.
The symmetry breaking pattern affects dark matter interactions and relic abundance.
New phenomenological signatures are proposed for this gauge symmetry structure.
Abstract
The dark sector is postulated to be invariant under an gauge symmetry, spontaneously broken by a Higgs quadruplet to a conserved residual symmetry. The resulting dark matter phenomenology is studied.
