Analyticity of stationary spacetimes from maximal hypersurfaces
Piotr T. Chru\'sciel, Marc Mars

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the analyticity of stationary vacuum spacetimes can be established using KID equations on maximal hypersurfaces, providing an alternative to the traditional quotient-space approach.
Contribution
It introduces a new method leveraging KID equations on maximal surfaces to prove analyticity, offering an alternative to existing quotient-space techniques.
Findings
Analyticity of stationary vacuum metrics can be proven via KID equations.
The KID approach provides an alternative proof method.
The results extend the understanding of spacetime analyticity proofs.
Abstract
The standard method of proving analyticity of stationary vacuum metrics invokes the quotient-space version of Einstein equations. We verify that the same conclusion can be obtained using the KID equations on maximal surfaces.
