Nabamita Banerjee, Tabasum Rahnuma, Ranveer Kumar Singh

TL;DR
This paper leverages the double copy formalism to derive soft and collinear limits in $ abla=8$ supergravity from known results in $ abla=4$ super Yang-Mills theory, highlighting a specific scalar self-duality condition.
Contribution
It introduces a method to compute supergravity limits using double copy relations and a self-duality condition to fix R-symmetry indices.
Findings
Derived supergravity soft and collinear limits from SYM results
Implemented a self-duality condition to constrain scalar R-symmetry indices
Enhanced understanding of amplitude relations in supergravity and gauge theories
Abstract
It is known that supergravity is dual to super Yang-Mills (SYM) via the double copy relation. Using the explicit relation between scattering amplitudes in the two theories, we calculate the soft and collinear limits in supergravity from know results in SYM. In our application of double copy, a particular self-duality condition is chosen for scalars that allows us to constrain and determine the R-symmetry indices of the supergravity states in the collinear limit.
