Unipotent character sheaves and strata of a reductive group, II
G. Lusztig

TL;DR
This paper extends the understanding of unipotent character sheaves by establishing a surjective map from these sheaves to the strata of a reductive group component, generalizing previous results to disconnected groups.
Contribution
It introduces a surjective map from unipotent character sheaves to strata for any reductive group component, broadening the scope beyond connected groups.
Findings
Established a surjective map from unipotent character sheaves to strata.
Extended previous results to disconnected reductive groups.
Provides a new framework for understanding sheaves and strata correspondence.
Abstract
Let D be a connected component of a reductive group over an algebraically closed field. We define a surjective map from the unipotent character sheaves on D to the set of strata of D, extending an earlier result which applied to connected reductive groups.
