Iterated Function Systems: A Comprehensive Survey
Ramen Ghosh, Jakub Marecek

TL;DR
This survey provides a comprehensive overview of iterated function systems, summarizing current knowledge, challenges, and future research opportunities in the field of iterative state transformations.
Contribution
It offers a thorough summary of the state of the art in IFS and highlights key challenges and opportunities for future research.
Findings
Summarizes fundamental concepts of IFS
Identifies key challenges in the field
Suggests directions for future research
Abstract
We provide an overview of iterated function systems (IFS), where randomly chosen state-to-state maps are applied iteratively to a state. We aim to summarize the state of art and, where possible, identify fundamental challenges and opportunities for further research.
