Celestial Conformal Colliders
Yangrui Hu, Sabrina Pasterski

TL;DR
This paper explores celestial conformal collider operators within the framework of celestial CFT, revealing new symmetries and extending the understanding of conformal collider phenomena in a 2D conformal setting.
Contribution
It introduces a celestial perspective on conformal collider operators, connecting 4D CFT correlators with 2D celestial CFT and proposing an extension based on $w_{1+ abla}$ symmetry.
Findings
Reformulation of 4D CFT correlators as celestial CFT correlators.
Identification of celestial primaries as light-ray operators.
Proposal of an extended conformal collider operator based on $w_{1+ abla}$ symmetry.
Abstract
We start by observing that the light-ray operators featured in the conformal collider literature are celestial primaries. This allows us to rephrase the corresponding 4D CFT correlators as probing a conformally soft matter sector of the 2D celestial CFT (CCFT). To demonstrate the utility of this perspective we show how the recent symmetry observed in CCFT suggests a natural extension of the conformal collider operators.
