Nonleptonic decays of $\Xi_{cc}\to \Xi_c \pi$ with $\Xi_c-\Xi_c'$ mixing
Chia-Wei Liu, Chao-Qiang Geng

TL;DR
This paper investigates the nonleptonic decays of doubly charmed baryons to test $\\Xi_c-\\Xi_c'$ mixing, using a combined theoretical approach and comparing results with experimental data to understand decay asymmetries and mixing effects.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of $\\Xi_{cc} o \\Xi_c \\pi$ decays considering baryon mixing and CMM effects, providing new predictions for decay ratios and asymmetries.
Findings
The matrix elements are about twice larger after removing CMM.
The ratio ${\cal R}$ is close to experimental measurements.
The up-down asymmetry flips sign with mixing inclusion.
Abstract
Aiming on testing the mixing, we study the decays of with , and . The soft-meson limit is considered along with the pole model, and the baryon matrix elements are evaluated by the bag model with and without removing the center-of-mass motion (CMM). We find that the four-quark operator matrix elements are about twice larger once the unwanted CMM is removed. We obtain that and with and without removing the CMM, where the former is close to the lower bound and the later is well consistent with measured at LHCb. In addition, we show that after including the mixing, the…
