TL;DR
This paper discusses the importance of subleading power corrections in QCD factorization to accurately describe heavy quarkonium production at various transverse momentum ranges, bridging high and low $p_T$ regimes.
Contribution
It introduces a method to incorporate subleading power corrections and match QCD factorization with NRQCD calculations for improved quarkonium production modeling.
Findings
Subleading power corrections are crucial at lower $p_T$.
A prescription for matching QCD and NRQCD calculations is proposed.
Enhanced understanding of quarkonium $p_T$ spectrum across regimes.
Abstract
We report the current understanding of heavy quarkonium production at high transverse momentum () in hadronic collisions in terms of QCD factorization. In this presentation, we highlight the role of subleading power corrections to heavy quarkonium production, which are essential to describe the spectrum of quarkonium at a relatively lower . We also introduce prescription to match QCD factorization to fixed-order NRQCD factorization calculations for quarkonium production at low .
