TL;DR
This paper reviews anomalies in heavy flavor physics, focusing on potential signs of new physics in measurements like R(D*) and R(K*), and discusses longstanding tensions in CKM matrix element determinations.
Contribution
It provides a concise overview of current anomalies and tensions in heavy sector measurements, highlighting areas where new physics might emerge.
Findings
Anomalies in R(D*) and R(K*) may indicate physics beyond the Standard Model
Persistent tension between exclusive and inclusive determinations of |V_{cb}| and |V_{ub}|
Standard Model generally describes heavy flavor physics well, aside from specific anomalies
Abstract
Heavy flavour physics is well described by the Standard Model with the exception of some measurements which could be pointing to new physics. We briefly review status and prospects of and anomalies and also address the long standing tension in the and exclusive/inclusive determinations.
