QCD vacuum replicas are metastable
Pedro Bicudo, Jos\'e Em\'ilio Ribeiro

TL;DR
This paper investigates the properties of excited QCD vacua, called replicas, and finds that all mesons in these states have real masses, indicating the replicas are metastable and physically plausible.
Contribution
It demonstrates that mesons in QCD vacuum replicas have no tachyons, confirming the metastability of these excited vacua.
Findings
All mesons have real masses in the replicas
QCD replicas are confirmed to be metastable
No tachyonic states found in the spectra
Abstract
We study the meson spectra in the excited QCD vacua, denominated replicas. We find all mesons have real masses, with no tachyons, thus showing the QCD replicas are indeed metastable.
