Infrared Renormalons in Supersymmetric Theories
Mikhail Shifman

TL;DR
The paper argues that in large-N supersymmetric QCD within the conformal window, infrared renormalons are absent, leading to vanishing gluon operator vacuum expectation values and suggesting the leading renormalon ambiguity disappears in supersymmetric gluodynamics.
Contribution
It provides a theoretical argument for the absence of infrared renormalons in certain supersymmetric theories and links this to the vanishing of the gluon condensate.
Findings
Infrared renormalons are absent in large-N supersymmetric QCD within the conformal window.
Vacuum expectation values of some gluon operators vanish in these theories.
The leading renormalon ambiguity likely disappears in supersymmetric gluodynamics.
Abstract
I argue that in large- supersymmetric QCD infrared renormalons are absent in the conformal window, there is no need in conspiracy, and vacuum expectation values of at least some gluon operators vanish. Basing on this conclusion I conjecture that in supersymmetric gluodynamics (supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory without matter) at least the leading renormalon ambiguity disappears which would be consistent with the fact that the gluon condensate vanishes in this theory, .
