TL;DR
This paper develops new gravity theories in two-dimensional spacetime by leveraging algebraic isomorphisms between Newton-Hooke and Carroll algebras, extending Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity to non-relativistic and Carrollian regimes.
Contribution
It constructs electric and magnetic Newton-Hooke and Carroll Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity theories using algebraic isomorphisms, broadening the scope of 2D gravity models.
Findings
Established algebraic isomorphisms between Newton-Hooke and Carroll algebras.
Formulated new gravity theories without geometric restrictions.
Extended Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity to non-relativistic and Carrollian contexts.
Abstract
We construct the electric and magnetic Newton-Hooke and Carroll Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity theories using the isomorphism of Newton-Hooke and (A-)dS Carroll algebras in -spacetime dimensions. The starting point is the non-relativistic and Carroll version of Jackiw-Teitelboim gravity without restrictions on the geometry studied in [15].
