Correlations of values of random diagonal forms
Valentin Blomer, Junxian Li

TL;DR
This paper investigates the statistical distribution of values of random diagonal forms with real coefficients, demonstrating that their correlations tend to follow a Poisson distribution under certain conditions.
Contribution
It establishes that for sufficiently large numbers of variables, the l-correlation of these random diagonal forms is Poissonian, advancing understanding of their value distribution.
Findings
l-correlation is Poissonian for large enough k
Distribution of values becomes Poissonian as variables increase
Results depend on the degree d and correlation level l
Abstract
We study the value distribution of diagonal forms in k variables and degree d with random real coefficients and positive integer variables, normalized so that mean spacing is one. We show that the l-correlation of almost all such forms is Poissonian when k is large enough depending on l and d.
