R. Benbrik, M. Krab, B. Manaut, M. Ouchemhou

TL;DR
This paper explores the production and decay signatures of a light charged Higgs boson in the 2HDM type-I at the LHC, highlighting potential observable signals with sizable production rates.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed analysis of charged Higgs production via $pp ightarrow H^\pm bj$ and its bosonic decay channels in the 2HDM type-I, emphasizing scenarios with sizable cross sections.
Findings
Sizable production rates reaching pb level for certain parameter regions.
Enhanced signatures when the top quark is on-shell and $ aneta$ is small.
Potential for observable signals at the LHC.
Abstract
In this study, we investigate the light charged Higgs boson production via in the type-I configuration of the Two-Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM). In the viable parameter space, assuming either or is the SM-like Higgs boson observed at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), we focus on the bosonic decays and examine the final states arising from the above charged Higgs production and decay. We show here that the suggested signatures can have sizable rates, reaching the pb level, when the top quark is produced on-shell and is small.
