Study of the $B^{-} \to \Lambda_{c}^{+} \bar{\Lambda}_{c}^{-} K^{-}$ decay
LHCb collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports on the detailed study of the decay $B^{-} o \\Lambda_{c}^{+} \\bar{\\Lambda}_{c}^{-} K^{-}$ at the LHCb experiment, revealing new excited states of the \\Xi_{c}^{0} baryon and measuring their properties.
Contribution
The study resolves the \\Xi_{c}(2930)^{0} into two narrower states and reports evidence for a new \\Xi_{c}(2880)^{0} state and a new decay mode, providing precise measurements of their masses and widths.
Findings
Resolved \\Xi_{c}(2930)^{0} into two states with measured masses and widths.
Found evidence for a new \\Xi_{c}(2880)^{0} state with specific mass and width.
Observed a new decay mode \\Xi_{c}(2790)^{0} \\to \\Lambda_{c}^{+} K^{-}.
Abstract
The decay is studied in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of TeV using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5 collected by the LHCb experiment. In the system, the state observed at the BaBar and Belle experiments is resolved into two narrower states, and , whose masses and widths are measured to be where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. The results are consistent with a…
