Non relativistic string compactifications on Calabi-Yau manifolds
Poula Tadros, Iiro Vilja

TL;DR
This paper explores how non-relativistic string theory compactified on Calabi-Yau manifolds can be obtained as a limit of relativistic compactifications, maintaining the internal geometry unchanged.
Contribution
It demonstrates a method to derive non-relativistic Calabi-Yau compactifications from relativistic ones through a non-relativistic limit process.
Findings
Non-relativistic limit preserves internal Calabi-Yau geometry.
Method connects relativistic and non-relativistic string compactifications.
Provides a framework for studying non-relativistic string phenomenology.
Abstract
We study Calabi-Yau compactifications of non relativistic string theory and show that it can be derived from the corresponding relativistic Calabi-Yau compactifications by taking the non relativistic limit of the resulting 4D theory without changing the internal part.
