A phenomenological note on the missing $\rho_2$ meson
Shahriyar Jafarzade

TL;DR
This paper discusses the theoretical prediction of the properties of the missing $ ho_2$ meson, an isovector meson with specific quantum numbers, using the extended Linear Sigma Model.
Contribution
It provides the first theoretical estimates of the mass and decay channels of the $ ho_2$ meson within a specific phenomenological model.
Findings
Predicted the mass of the $ ho_2$ meson.
Identified dominant decay channels for the $ ho_2$ meson.
Contributed to understanding the meson nonet structure.
Abstract
The meson is the missing isovector member of the meson nonet with the quantum numbers . It belongs to the class of -mesons such as the vector meson , the excited vector and the tensor . Yet, despite the rich experimental and theoretical studies for other -meson states, no resonance that could be assigned to the meson has been measured. In this note, we present the results for the mass and dominant decay channels of the meson within the extended Linear Sigma Model.
