Chris D. A. Blair, Sofia Zhidkova

TL;DR
This paper introduces a generalized U-duality technique in supergravity that generates new 11-dimensional solutions from type IIA solutions on a 6-sphere, utilizing an underlying 6-algebra structure and exceptional geometry.
Contribution
It provides an uplift of four-dimensional ISO(7) gauged supergravity to 11 dimensions using E7 exceptional geometry, expanding solution-generating methods in supergravity.
Findings
Constructed a new 11D solution from a type IIA D2 solution.
Demonstrated the method's ability to produce half-BPS solutions.
Established a link between 6-algebra structures and supergravity solutions.
Abstract
We study a solution generating technique in supergravity which can be viewed as a generalised version of U-duality, taking solutions of type IIA supergravity on a 6-sphere with RR flux to new solutions of 11-dimensional supergravity. The new solutions are characterised by an underlying 6-algebra structure. Our construction provides an 11-dimensional uplift of four-dimensional ISO(7) gauged supergravity, using exceptional geometry techniques. We focus on an example where we start with the D2 solution in type IIA supergravity and construct a new -BPS 11-dimensional solution.
