BFSS Matrix Model Cosmology: Progress and Challenges
Suddhasattwa Brahma, Robert Brandenberger, Samuel Laliberte

TL;DR
This paper reviews how the BFSS matrix model could potentially explain the emergence of space-time and early universe cosmology, discussing recent progress and outlining future research challenges.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive review of the progress and challenges in deriving cosmological models from the BFSS matrix framework.
Findings
Progress in connecting BFSS matrix model to emergent space-time
Identification of key challenges in modeling early universe cosmology
Outlook on future research directions in matrix model cosmology
Abstract
We review a proposal to obtain an emergent metric space-time and an emergent early universe cosmology from the BFSS matrix model. Some challenges and directions for future research are outlined.
