Diffusive Fluctuations in Hard Rods System
Stefano Olla, Pablo Ferrari

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of density fluctuations in an equilibrium system of hard rods with variable length, under diffusive scaling, revealing insights into the stochastic dynamics of integrable systems.
Contribution
It provides an analysis of density fluctuations in a completely integrable hard rod system with variable length, extending understanding of stochastic behavior in such models.
Findings
Density fluctuations exhibit diffusive behavior under scaling.
The study extends previous models to include variable rod lengths.
Results contribute to the understanding of stochastic dynamics in integrable systems.
Abstract
We examine the behaviour of density fluctuation in equilibrium under diffusive space-time scaling of a completely integrable dynamics of hard rods with variable length. This is the extended abstract of a talk given by S.Olla at the workshop 'Large Stochastic Dynamics', Oberwolfach, 12-17 September 2022
