Light meson spectroscopy and gluonium searches in $\eta_c$ and $\Upsilon(1S)$ decays at BaBar
Antimo Palano

TL;DR
This paper investigates light meson spectroscopy and gluonium searches through radiative and two-photon decays of $$ and $S$ at BaBar, revealing a new $a_0(1700)$ resonance and exploring scalar mesons' roles in gluonium identification.
Contribution
It reports the first observation of the $a_0(1700)$ resonance in $S$ decays and provides detailed analysis of $S$ radiative and $S$ two-photon decay channels related to scalar mesons and gluonium.
Findings
Observation of a new $a_0(1700)$ resonance.
Detailed Dalitz plot analysis of $c$ decays.
Insights into scalar mesons and gluonium content.
Abstract
We study the radiative decays to and using data recorded with the BaBar detector operating at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider at center-of-mass energies at the and resonances. The resonance is reconstructed from the decay , . We also study the processes , , and using a data sample of 519 recorded with the BaBar detector at center-of-mass energies at and near the () resonances. A Dalitz plot analysis is performed of decays to , , and . A new resonance is observed in the invariant-mass spectrum…
