TL;DR
This paper investigates the charmless decay mechanisms of the $X(3872)$ particle, modeled as a molecular $ar{D}D^*$ state, using intermediate meson loops to predict decay widths and their dependence on constituent composition.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed model of $X(3872)$ charmless decays via meson loops considering different neutral and charged component proportions, providing specific decay width predictions.
Findings
Decay widths for $X(3872) o VV$ are about tens of keVs.
Decay widths for $X(3872) o VP$ can reach hundreds of keVs.
Decay ratios depend on the mixing angle $ heta$, offering testable predictions.
Abstract
The charmless decay processes of provide us a good platform to study the nature and the decay mechanism of . Based on a molecular nature of as a bound state, we have investigated the charmless decays and via intermediate meson loops, where and stand for light vector and pseudoscalar mesons, respectively. We discuss three cases, i.e., pure neutral components (), isospin singlet () and neutral components dominant (), where is a phase angle describing the proportion of neutral and charged constituents. The proportion of neutral and charged constituent have an influence on the decay widths of and . With the coupling constant of to the channel obtained under the molecule ansatz of resonance, the…
