Sung Rak Choi, Sungwook Jang

TL;DR
This paper introduces the potential log canonical threshold, proves it satisfies the ascending chain condition, and explores properties of Fano type varieties, including their boundedness.
Contribution
It defines the potential log canonical threshold and establishes its ACC property, advancing understanding of thresholds in algebraic geometry.
Findings
Potential log canonical thresholds satisfy ACC.
Boundedness properties of Fano type varieties are studied.
Foundational results on thresholds and Fano varieties are provided.
Abstract
In this paper, we define potential log canonical threshold and prove that the set of those thresholds satisfies the ascending chain condition (ACC). We also consider collections of sequences of Fano type varieties and we study their basic properties including boundedness.
