TL;DR
This study reports the first evidence of the decay $oldsymbol{ ext{Omega}_c^0 o ext{Xi}^- ext{pi}^+}$, measures its branching ratio, and sets upper limits for related suppressed decay modes using Belle data.
Contribution
First observation of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay $oldsymbol{ ext{Omega}_c^0 o ext{Xi}^- ext{pi}^+}$ and the establishment of upper limits for other suppressed decay modes.
Findings
Evidence for $ ext{Omega}_c^0 o ext{Xi}^- ext{pi}^+$ with $4.5\sigma$ significance.
Measured branching ratio of $ ext{Omega}_c^0 o ext{Xi}^- ext{pi}^+$ relative to $ ext{Omega}_c^0 o ext{Omega}^- ext{pi}^+$.
Set upper limits on the branching ratios of $ ext{Omega}_c^0 o ext{Xi}^- K^+$ and $ ext{Omega}_c^0 o ext{Omega}^- K^+$.
Abstract
Using a data sample of 980 fb collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider, we study for the first time the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays and and the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decay . Evidence for an signal in the mode is reported with a significance of including systematic uncertainties. The ratio of branching fractions to the normalization mode is measured to be No significant signals of and modes are found. The upper limits at confidence level on ratios of branching fractions are determined to be $${\cal…
