TL;DR
This paper derives a $Tar{T}$ deformed soft graviton theorem within celestial holography, showing how a 2D irrelevant deformation impacts 4D amplitudes and suggesting a link to loop corrections for quantum gravity.
Contribution
It introduces a novel $Tar{T}$ deformation framework for soft theorems in celestial holography, connecting 2D deformations to 4D gravitational amplitudes.
Findings
$Tar{T}$ deformation modifies soft graviton theorems.
Deformation relates to loop corrections in amplitudes.
Potential pathway to ultraviolet complete quantum gravity.
Abstract
In this paper, we derive a deformed soft graviton theorem in the context of celestial holography. As a concrete example, it illustrates that a two-dimensional irrelevant deformation can be applied to a four-dimensional theory at the level of amplitudes. We argue that the deformation has a close relation to the loop-correction from the amplitude side which could provide an alternative way to construct an ultraviolet complete quantum theory of gravity.
