Double $J/\psi$ production as a test of parton momentum correlations in double parton scattering
Sergey Koshkarev, Stefan Groote

TL;DR
This paper investigates how parton momentum correlations affect double $J/$ production in proton-proton collisions, providing predictions for future measurements at the Spin Physics Detector to test these correlations.
Contribution
It introduces the use of the GS09 model to predict the impact of parton momentum correlations on double $J/$ production, a novel approach in this context.
Findings
Predicted the effect of parton momentum correlations on double $J/$ production.
Calculated double $J/$ production cross sections using the GS09 model.
Provided estimates for the effective cross sections relevant for experiments.
Abstract
Using the GS09 model we predict the possible impact of the parton momentum correlation on the -pair production at the Spin Physics Detector at the Nuclotron-based Ion Collider Facility. The double production and the effective cross sections are calculated.
