Medium effects for hadron-tagged jets in proton-proton collisions
B.G. Zakharov

TL;DR
This paper investigates medium modifications in hadron-tagged jets in proton-proton collisions using a theoretical approach, fitting parameters to LHC data and comparing predictions with recent ALICE results.
Contribution
It introduces a parameterization of the running coupling in the light-cone path integral approach to model medium effects without free parameters, fitting to LHC data.
Findings
Theoretical predictions align with ALICE preliminary data.
The model successfully describes multiplicity dependence of $I_{pp}$.
Parameterization of $eta_s$ captures medium effects in $pp$ collisions.
Abstract
We study the medium modification factor within the light-cone path integral approach to induced gluon emission. We use parametrization of the running coupling which has a plateau around . We calculate with no free parameters using fitted to the LHC data on the nuclear modification factor . We find that the theoretical multiplicity dependence of the ratio for TeV collisions agrees reasonably with the recent preliminary data from ALICE [1].
