TL;DR
This paper investigates the excited states of omega and rho mesons, compares them with known families, and explores the nature of the X(2220) state, providing predictions for masses, widths, and decay behaviors to guide future experimental and theoretical studies.
Contribution
It offers a comprehensive analysis of omega and rho meson excitations, including the potential identification of X(2220) as an omega excitation, and predicts properties of higher states to aid future research.
Findings
X(2220) may be an omega excitation.
Predicted masses and widths of higher omega and rho states.
Detailed decay behaviors to assist experimental identification.
Abstract
We study the excited states of and by comparison with the and families, and discuss the possibility of as excitation by analyzing the mass spectra and strong decay behaviors. In addition, we predict the masses and widths of and and , , and and and . The abundant information of their two-body strong decays predicted in this work will be helpful to further study of these and and and states in experiment and theory.
