Xuan Luo, Hai-Bing Fu, Hai-Jiang Tian

TL;DR
This paper investigates the production of $\\Xi_{bc}$ and $\\Xi_{bb}$ baryons from $Z$-boson decay using NRQCD, providing predictions for branching ratios, event numbers at colliders, and decay distributions.
Contribution
It offers a comprehensive calculation of $Z$-boson decay into $\\Xi_{bc}$ and $\\Xi_{bb}$ baryons with detailed predictions, including branching ratios and event estimates, using the NRQCD factorization approach.
Findings
Branching ratio for $Z\to\Xi_{bc}+X$ is approximately $3.595\times 10^{-5}$.
Predicted $\\Xi_{bc}$ events are around $10^4$ at LHC and $10^7$ at CEPC.
Production ratio ${\cal R}(Z_Q\to\Xi_{bc}^{+,0})$ is up to $10^{-6}$ for $Z\to c\bar c$ channel.
Abstract
The -boson decay provides good opportunities for the research on baryon due to large quantity of events that can be collected at the high-energy colliders. We performed a completed investigation of the indirect production of the and baryon via -boson decay with quark according to NRQCD factorizations approach. After considering the contribution of the diquark states , , and , the calculated branching ratio for are and . Moreover, the events produced are predicted to be of the order at the LHC(CEPC), while the …
