TL;DR
This paper measures the two-photon decay width of the $oldsymbol{ ext{chi}_{c2}(1P)}$ particle using data from the Belle experiment, providing precise results that improve understanding of charmonium states.
Contribution
First measurement of the two-photon decay width of $ ext{chi}_{c2}(1P)$ in two-photon processes at Belle with high precision.
Findings
Decay width $oldsymbol{ ext{Gamma}_{ ext{gamma gamma}}( ext{chi}_{c2}(1P))}$ = 653 ± 13 (stat.) ± 31 (syst.) ± 17 (branching ratio) eV.
Product of decay width and branching fractions measured as 14.8 ± 0.3 (stat.) ± 0.7 (syst.) eV.
Analysis used 971 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected at KEKB collider.
Abstract
We report the measurement of the two-photon decay width of in two-photon processes at the Belle experiment. We analyze the process , using a data sample of 971 fb collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB collider. In this analysis, the product of the two-photon decay width of and the branching fraction is determined to be eV, which corresponds to = 653 13(stat.) 31(syst.) 17(B.R.) eV, where the third uncertainty is from…
