Shou-shan Bao

TL;DR
This paper calculates the branching ratios of certain Lambda_c decays using factorization, and proposes a ratio to minimize form factor uncertainties, aiding experimental analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a ratio of decay channels to reduce theoretical uncertainties in branching ratio calculations.
Findings
The ratio R=0.0743±0.0014 effectively minimizes form factor uncertainties.
Calculated branching ratios are sensitive to form factor uncertainties.
The results assist BESIII in experimental measurements.
Abstract
We calculated the branch ratios of and within factorization approximation. It is found that the results suffers from the uncertainties of form factors. To reduce such uncertainties, we checked the ratio of the two channels, which is obtained as . It is found that the uncertainty caused by form factors is significantly reduced. This note is prepared for the BESIII collaboration.
