A product integration rule on equispaced nodes for highly oscillating integrals
Luisa Fermo, Domenico Mezzanotte, Donatella Occorsio

TL;DR
This paper introduces a new product integration rule using equispaced nodes specifically designed for highly oscillating integrals, with proven stability and error estimates supported by numerical tests.
Contribution
It presents a novel product integration rule tailored for highly oscillating integrals using equally spaced nodes, with theoretical stability and error analysis.
Findings
The rule is stable in the space of continuous functions.
Error estimates are rigorously proven.
Numerical tests confirm the theoretical results.
Abstract
This paper provides a product integration rule for highly oscillating integrands, based on equally spaced nodes. The stability and the error estimate are proven in the space of continuous functions, and some numerical tests which confirm such estimates are provided.
