Search for $D^+ \to K^- K^0_s \pi^+ \pi^+ \pi^0$ at Belle
The Belle Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports a search for a rare decay of the D+ meson into specific final states using Belle data, measuring its branching fraction and setting upper limits, contributing to understanding charm meson decay dynamics.
Contribution
First measurement and upper limit setting for the decay D+ → K- K0s π+ π+ π0 using the full Belle dataset, providing new insights into charm decay processes.
Findings
Measured branching fraction: (6.4^{+3.9}_{-3.8})×10^{-5}
Upper limit at 95% credibility: 1.4×10^{-4}
Sum of related decay modes: (6.0^{+6.3}_{-5.8})×10^{-5}
Abstract
We search for the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay using the full data set of 988 fb recorded by the Belle experiment at the KEKB collider. We measure the branching fraction for this decay to be with an upper limit at 95% credibility of . We also measure the sum of the branching fractions for and to be with an upper limit at 95% credibility of .
