Igal Arav, Jerome P. Gauntlett, Matthew M. Roberts, Christopher, Rosen

TL;DR
This paper constructs new supersymmetric AdS3 solutions in type IIB supergravity with a spindle-fibered internal space, providing gravity duals to 2D SCFTs from compactified Leigh-Strassler theories, and confirms their consistency via anomaly calculations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel class of supersymmetric AdS3 solutions with spindle geometries, expanding the landscape of known gravity duals for 2D SCFTs from 4D theories.
Findings
Central charge matches anomaly polynomial calculations.
Solutions are within the anti-twist class of supersymmetric compactifications.
Constructed in a consistent truncation of five-dimensional supergravity.
Abstract
We construct a new class of supersymmetric solutions of type IIB supergravity, where is an fibration over a spindle, which are dual to , SCFTs. The solutions are constructed in a sub-truncation of , maximal gauged supergravity and they all lie within the anti-twist class. We show that the central charge computed from the gravity solutions agrees with an anomaly polynomial calculation associated with compactifying the , Leigh-Strassler SCFT on a spindle.
