Hyperbolicity in presence of a large local system
Yohan Brunebarbe

TL;DR
This paper proves that complex algebraic varieties with large local systems satisfy a strong form of the Green-Griffiths-Lang conjecture, linking local system properties to hyperbolicity.
Contribution
It establishes a new connection between large local systems and hyperbolicity in algebraic varieties, advancing the Green-Griffiths-Lang conjecture.
Findings
Varieties with large local systems are hyperbolic in a strong sense.
The Green-Griffiths-Lang conjecture holds for these varieties.
Provides new insights into the structure of algebraic varieties with local systems.
Abstract
We prove that the projective complex algebraic varieties admitting a large complex local system satisfy a strong version of the Green-Griffiths-Lang conjecture.
