Opinion formation process in a hierarchical society
Mar\'ia Celeste Romero Longar, Nicolas Saintier, Anal\'ia Silva

TL;DR
This paper investigates how consensus forms in hierarchical societies by deriving kinetic equations and analyzing their solutions to understand the long-term opinion dynamics.
Contribution
It introduces a mathematical framework for modeling opinion formation in hierarchical structures and derives explicit formulas for the consensus opinion.
Findings
Derived kinetic equations for hierarchical opinion dynamics
Analyzed long-term behavior of solutions
Obtained explicit formulas for consensus opinion
Abstract
In this work we study the formation of consensus in a hierarchical population. We derive the corresponding kinetic equations, and analyze the long time behaviour of their solutions for the case of finite number of hierarchical obtaining explicit formula for the consensus opinion.
