TL;DR
This paper introduces a method to connect bulk and boundary thermodynamics in asymptotically AdS black holes through a varying gravitational constant map, facilitating better understanding of holographic dualities.
Contribution
It proposes a generic transformation linking bulk and boundary thermodynamic quantities via a varying-$G$ map, with demonstrated examples.
Findings
The varying-$G$ map effectively relates bulk and boundary thermodynamics.
Examples show the map's utility in different AdS black hole scenarios.
The approach enhances understanding of holographic thermodynamics.
Abstract
We propose a sequence of steps and a generic transformation for connecting common thermodynamic quantities considered in asymptotically anti-de Sitter black hole thermodynamics in the bulk and those that are appropriate for CFT thermodynamics in the boundary. We do this by constructing a "varying- map", where is the gravitational constant, and demonstrate its usefulness by considering various examples.
